FAQs

What is a bail bond?

A bail bond is a financial guarantee to the court that the defendant will promise to appear in court when required.

How does a bail bond work?

When you use a licensed bail bond company, once bail is set you only pay a portion of the set bail amount. In other words, you wouldn’t have to pay the full bail amount upfront.

How is the bail amount determined?

The bail amount depends on the factors of the case. This includes charges, criminal history, flight risk of not showing up to court, and other factors.

How do I get a friend or family member out of jail using a bail bond?

Step 1: Call Immediate Bail Bonds. We can check to see if they’ve been processed and what their bail amount has been set at.

Step 2: Your Immediate Bail Bonds representative will walk you through the details of the case, the portion of the bail amount that would be owed at that time, cosigner responsibilities, and payment options.

Step 3: Once details have been discussed, the bond will be posted by Immediate Bail Bonds to the court.

Step 4: Your friend or family member is released from jail!

Are there any additional fees?

In general, a 10% fee is based on the bond amount. No additional payments or interest incurred, what you see is what you get. Payment plans are available.
